Kyle: My name is Kyle, I grew up in coastal towns in southern New England, over run by suburban yuppies. I had to get out! So, I went to college and became a forester. A proffesion where they prefer applicants who like to live out in the middle of nowhere. So here we are... In April 2010, I bought a house on 36 acres, less than 500 feet from the ocean, in a sparsely populated town in the lower 48. Couldn't get much better than that, right? Well I'm gonna try to make it even better...

This is blog is all about Our home and property, in a little coastal town, with a population somewhere around 800. It consists of a house, 12 acres of hay fields (currently), and a 24 acre woodlot.
